WebSwarm failed to kick off. I know how to fix this in a C++ Project, usually by Opening the UE4.sln file in the engine install folder and rebuilding the Lightmass. But for obvious reasons.. the modkit does not have these files available....

WebThis warning can be fixed by first selecting a Static Mesh in the generic browser and then going to the StaticMesh Actor's Property Window->StaticMeshActor Category->StaticMeshComponent->StaticMeshComponent Category to set the 'StaticMesh' Property. [Actor] : Static Mesh Actor has NULL StaticMeshComponent property - please delete! Web26 Apr 2024 · Open the UE4.sln file in your engine install folder. Build UnrealLightmass. Once this is done, run the editor and you should be able to build your levels again. That last step should almost certainly resolve your issue. Web8 May 2016 · There are a couple of reasons that Swarm Failed to kick off. Some of the more common ones are that the firewall or antivirus may be blocking it from starting properly. If so, you have to recompile the Lightmass module (as the error suggests). Static Mesh Actors with Mobility set to Movable do work, however. You'll need to use either Stationary or Movable lights. Lighting channels will only affect direct lighting on opaque materials.
